
The mission of the Regional Technology Center (RTC) is to provide technology solutions and
state-of-the-art information management services to the educational community. RTC provides computerized
information services to schools, districts, county offices, the State Department of Education, and other
public sector and nonprofit agencies. Our services include high-speed Internet access, business
information systems, e-mail, network and technology solutions, LAN and WAN support, training and support

Financial/Payroll Quintessential School Systems (QSS)
Customer Support and training is provided for all QSS applications
including accounts receivable, accounts payable, purchasing, stores, general
ledger, HR, and payroll
Help Desk
The Help Desk provides support and direction on QSS, PC, Mac and
networking problems; troubleshoots calls and refers to appropriate staff for
resolution; sets up electronic mail and on-line scheduling capabilities.
Internet Connectivity
RTC provides set-up, installation and support services; electronic mail and
on-line scheduling capabilities; Internet connectivity and support.
Web Application Development
Design, creation, server support and maintenance for Internet web sites is
provided, with specialization in interactive on-line databases.
Network Services and Consulting
Cost-effective equipment and software installation is provided, as well as
technical networking consulting and Internet support.
CalWORKS
On behalf of school districts, the RTC coordinates CalWORKS services (formerly Aid for Dependent Children)
with Santa Clara County.
